I'm someone who is neurodivergent and has a lot of difficulty getting out of the house. Arron not only gave me a fantastic haircut, but he also took the time and attention to make sure I was comfortable throughout the experience. In addition, I felt very safe in this environment as a lesbian woman, which isn't always the case in male-dominated barber shops. This is the best haircut and experience I've had in a shop in years. I will definitely be back!

I went and saw Aaron, he’s been my barber for a while. Coming from someone who’s gotten more than 10 haircuts from him he’s the best barber I’ve had, and seen. He always gets me right and he won’t mess your hair up if you go to him.

Started going to Matt at Momentum when my other barbershop moved further away. I've had 3 haircuts with him and every time I leave with the utmost confidence. He got my hair looking perfectly how I had hoped, so of course that meant I got an entirely new hairstyle this time, and to no surprise, I am extremely happy with the results.

Went there for the first time a few weeks ago although I've been hearing about it being the spot to go for years . The place is beautiful everyone in there seemed happy to be there, good music playing, great vibes, chill and laid back with free flowing conversations with great people throughout the shop. Although do yourself a favor and ask for a fade by Mark Evans, I lucked out and got him, this guy can fade with best of them and I've been told for multiple long-term barbers that my hair is extremely difficult to do, because of multiple cow licks, course hair and odd growth patterns. Come to find out he's been cutting hair since he was a young teenager, about 28 years now. Marks got some serious talent, takes his time and doesn't miss a beat. Definitely takes pride in every single cut it takes pride in what he does. You can tell he doesn't just try to push as many people through his chair today to make as much as possible. Highly recommended

Great cut. Great beard trim and line up. I saw a barber named Mark…..Evans? I think. Great guy. Good conversation and the atmosphere is the best I’ve seen in Maine. Very professional. I’ll definitely be back again. I walked in and got lucky he was available. I will def make an appointment next time!!

It was my first time at Momentum, I chose Landen and he hooked me up with a sweet cut. The vibe was awesome, all the barbers helped each other. Shout out to Landen. Definitely recommend.

I saw Gavin, and he was extremely capable. He understood exactly what I was looking for, was great at taking feedback, and left me with my favorite haircut I've had in a long time. The price was completely reasonable, and booking online was super easy too. I'll be going back!

This place is awesome. Got an appointment in less than 30 minutes when enjoying Old Port. Gavin was incredible. Literally the friendliest barber I have ever met. His heavy music records on his wall already convinced me that I was in the right place. More importantly he explained what he was doing while doing it. I walked in debating if i should wait to get a cut once im home and im so happy I went with my gut on this place. The price is so worth it. This was one of the best haircuts I got!
